GALLERY SHOWS, FESTIVALS, & PERSONAL WORK

earthRHIZOME - CAMBODIA | THAILAND | VIETNAM

Full Color - 108 Page Hardbound Photo Journal
"earthRHIZOME spans the earth and digs beyond the surface, seeking wonder, mystery, and joy from the commonly unseen or untouched elements that connect all mankind. The goal: to capture stunning beauty, surreal landscapes and intimate encounters with evocative and inspiring photographs." - From the inside dust jacket

48 Hour Film Festival - "No. 5"

The 48 Hour Film Project's mission is to advance filmmaking and promote filmmakers. Through its festival/competition, the Project encourages filmmakers and would-be filmmakers to get out there and make movies. The tight deadline of 48 hours puts the focus squarely on the filmmakers—emphasizing creativity and teamwork skills. While the time limit places an unusual restriction on the filmmakers, it is also liberating by putting an emphasis on "doing" instead of "talking." - From the 48 Hour Film Festival Web site

SafeTEA Ambulance

Hired to write, direct, shoot and edit a 2 minute short scholarship video on the health benefits of Tea.
The Calm-a-Sutra of Tea is a national scholarship given for the most creative tea video, as a means to educate consumers about the delicious taste and numerous health benefits of drinking tea. - From the TeaUSA web site.

Second Sight - Leaping Lizard Art Gallery, 2005
Solo exhibition of photographic works.
" Our world exists through our senses. Be it sight, smell, touch, sound or taste we perceive our environment and form the world in which we live. For most of us, our day to day lives bring the routine and mundane full circle back; each and
every day.
Can we experience this uniformity in a new way?
Second Sight looks at what exists in the routine and mundane and pauses our systematic perception for a moment. It allows us to focus on what exists when we remove ourselves from the pattern to which we are so accustomed. If we can learn to truly notice what exists, rather than just see it, we can open a perceptual gateway to experience all life in this way."
- Artist Statement

Ruined & Rebuilt - Elegy for Ruins, MCA Denver, 2001
